My heart was beating fast and loud. I'm sure everyone on the street could hear it, what happened with Faisal? I decided to call him once I'm home. The whole while with Anoud I was distracted; spacing away every 5 minutes I couldn't bear it anymore. I had to call Faisal, now.
After I settled on the bed my thumb went back and forth between the dial button and the cancel button. I pressed dial, and I waited for him to pick up. I was almost sweating from fear, what could it possibly be that would make Faisal angry? I went through everything that happened between us, and all I could see is that we were seriously happy.
"Alo?" I said nervously, "hala" Faisal said quietly. We were quiet for a while, "Faisal please la t5wfny, esh fe?" I asked almost desperately. "Maha enty m56oba lFaris Alx?" I breathed a sigh of relief. "If you are ya Maha. Bcause if you are we can't go on with this, we can't keep doing this." Faisal urgently, like his world just came crashing down.
"Faisal, Faisal 7beeby, FAISAL!" I screamed at the end getting frustrated. "Yes?" He said realizing that he was not listening to me. "I was engaged to Faris, yes. The day I answered your call though we had broken off our engagement in the morning." I heard his relieved sigh, and my heart started beating in a normal rhythm.
"5wftik?" Faisal said while he laughed nervously, "yes!!" I said angry. "Hmm, m39ba?" He said his tone turning into that heart warming, stomach dropping one. "Ye-ee" I said in a loud, squeaky voice that's so not me. "I have no clue min ween hl9ot 6l3 bes tdren off at5ylik so sexy when you're angry."
I turned redder than my flats. "A7is eny lazim ashofik, al7een." Faisal said suddenly, ana fazayt mn mkani mn elro3a. "What? Twik shayfny ma 9arlik 5 sa3at." You could hear the panic in my voice while saying that. He laughed at my reaction and we kept on talking till I somehow fell asleep on Anoud's bed.
I woke up an hour later to a familiar manly voice asking me to wake up, "Maha wake up.. Mahouyy.. Mahawii galby.. Eldenya 9a7ya w denyti nayma." Faisal was waking me up. Wait what huh shlon? I jumped from the bed and realized that I fell asleep with my phone under my ear, so that must mean Faisal heard everything. I looked at the call duration and it said "3:27:06" I gasped, so he has been on the phone while I slept? Why didn't he hang up?
After clearing my throat I put the phone back on my ear and said, "alo Faisal?" I said sounding embarrassed. "9ba7 el5air lazy head" he said with a chuckle and I noticed that the background noise subsided, galby wallah. "Faisal, leeh ma 9krt eltelephone?" I asked embarrassed. "3shan this was the closest thing I have to watching you sleep for a while, as creepy as that might sound." He said nervously, and I could imagine him getting a faint blush and scratching his neck. God help me if that guy doesn't marry me any time soon, I'll die.
"B9k al7een 3shan aro7 a3'sl w a9li, w ent trj3 lA97abik, ok?" I said shyly even though I didn't want him to go, I don't think I'll ever have my fill of him any time soon. It can get embarrassing at times. "Lazim tro7een?" He asked agonizingly, I swear my heart almost soared out of my chest. "Ee lazim.." I said and kept quiet, "ok, oh and mahawi?" He called out using his soft tone.
"Hala" I said eagerly. "I love you." He said in a whisper.
