The day baby Faisal was introduced to the world was the day Mit3eb and Shaikha found peace and finally could feel secure. 

17 Jul. 1993           Khobar, Saudi Arabia

That hot mid-summer day Khalid and Noura met their first daughter after having 3 sons. Their baby girl Maha.

4 Apr. 1998         Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

"Hey! Etrok'ha! 5ala9 mamnoo3 e6gounha rou7o elgo wa7da thania!" screamed an 8 year-old boy with probably the darkest eyes 5 year-old Maha has ever seen. Suddenly all the mean bullying boys in the party left little Maha alone. "Thank you. Ana ethmi Maha, enta aysh ethmk?" little Maha had her eyes wide open and was staring at the boy with awe. The little boy was surprised he has never seen a girl so pretty, and her lisp (lad3'a) was the cutest thing ever. "Ana esmi Fai9al 3umri 8 sneen 3ashan kitha ana 8awe w a5wf kl elawlad. Enti leesh ttkalamain kitha?" Faisal had his head to the right which made him look like Lucky Maha's puppy at that thought Maha started laughing. "What's funny?" Faisal frowned, "mafrou9' you don't laugh at me since I saved you from those bullies!" Maha felt like crying she didn't mean to upset the boy "I'm thowwy. Ma kan 8athdi aza3lk come I'll give you cookies." 

After 3 hours of playing together non-stop Maha's mother came to take her home. "Maha yallah mama lazm enro7 elbait say bye to Auntie Amal w the birthday girl!" "Mama 3adi agol elFaithal bye kman?" Her mum nodded, and Maha ran over to Faisal and said "Bye Faithal! Barou7 elbait al7een" after saying that she gave him a kiss on his cheek and her glitter lipgloss stained on his cheek. Faisal blushed and his mother snapped the 4th picture of him that day. 

15 Aug. 2009            Fiumicino Airport, Rome, Italy

Maha bumped into a wall, and it hurt. "A77777. Mn wayn 6ala3 hljidar?" she said while rubbing her forehead and nose. "Asif bas ana insan. Salamtk btw, te3awarti? Agdar asa3dk?" Maha felt the blood filling her face from how his husky smooth verrry sexy voice made her feel, and her blush reaching her toes, 7a9'ha y6la3 ely t9ga3 feh 5aleejy! She looked up at him and smiled a tiny smile "umm laa 3ady." Shii2 w 7elo kaman. Wow. 

"All passengers of flight number 1089 heading to Dammam, Saudi Arabia via Riyadh on Saudi Airlines please start boarding." 

Maha was standing in the queue waiting for her turn to board, and typing a text to tell her mother that she's going to board and going to be home in a few hours. She gave the security guard/flight attendant her boarding pass and passport, and in response she got a smile and a "have a pleasant flight Miss Maha."

After putting her bag in the cabin above she took her seat near the window and prayed to god that no one is in the seat next to her. She heard the click of a seat belt and felt her shoulders slump automatically. When she turned around she realised that it was the same guy she bumped into "oh, it's you." She said without thinking. "Yeah it's me." said the guy absent-mindedly fj2a he cleared his throat. "I'm sorry, but have we met before?" he asked very shyly while scratching his neck. Oh my gosh he's too cute, focus Maha the guy was talking to you. "No I don't think we have. I'm Maha by the way" she smiled at him a very short and shy smile. "Faisal, nice to meet you Maha." He gave her a very wide smile and started getting comfortable in his seat. 

Through the flight Maha and Faisal kept talking about a lot of topics and they both felt the connection between them even though they only knew each other's first names. Maha prayed that he would be going to Dammam with her and not Riyadh.

"Dear passengers, we have arrived in King Khalid's International Airport in Riyadh. The local time is 7:30 AM everyone except the passengers heading to Dammam can now leave the plane." 

Maha felt his weight shift and knew that he would not be going to Dammam with her, and surprisingly a wave of disappointment hit her. "Well it was a pleasure meeting you Maha w enshallah I'll be seeing you again" he said with a sad smile. Maha knew it wasn't the time but she felt so much happiness that he was maybe disappointed because of the same reason "enta kman ya Faisal" Maha said with a smile. "Oh and Maha?" Faisal called real quick and Maha could've sworn she saw him blush, "Yeah?" "You're really really pretty, plain beautiful. Ok bye." He said in a rush. Maha felt like a thousand butterflies were unleashed in her stomach, maybe fate would give them a chance?

"Maha mama t3ali bakalemek bmaw9'o3" Noura said to her daughter with a weird looking smile. "Hala mamati, aysh feeky?" Maha said with her eyebrows crinkling creating a v where they met. "Adry enek twk 93'era bes mo shayna lww tfkren b elmaw9'ou3-" "Mama traky jalsa t5awfeni please tklami!" Maha pleaded. "Okay" Noura breathed, "fe nas jayeen y56bonk le waladhom."
